Life Coaching is a powerful alliance, created between a Life Coach and you, designed to empower you towards creating the life you want. In the process of coaching, you will:

    Empowerment
  • Gain clarity about the issues you want to address, the future self you envision and the self-defeating behaviors that get in the way.
  • Acquire a new mindset that moves you toward your goals.
  • Develop skills that help you move toward the life you consciously choose.
  • Move from where you are now to where you want to be.

As your Divorce Life Coach, I can:

  • Empower you to achieve your goals and desires, allowing you to lead a life that will bring more fulfillment, success and happiness.
  • Help you believe that you can stop being a reactive force to life’s circumstances and be the Creator of your Life.
  • Show you how to experience major positive changes in your life.

Here’s what is being said about Life Coaching:

Time Magazine says: "Coaching is an action-oriented partnership that, unlike psychotherapy, which delves into patterns of the past, concentrates on where you are today and how to reach your goals."

Newsweek Magazine says: "Part consultant, part motivational speaker... (life) coaches work with managers, entrepreneurs, and just plain folks, helping them define and achieve their goals."

Laura Berman Fortgang, veteran life coach says: "It's not the way things are, it’s the way we are." A good life coach shows you how to change so that you can get the outside circumstances of your life and career to change. They will help you unlock your potential by showing you ways that you can grow and invest in your ability to achieve.

Laurie Koh of the San Francisco Guardian says: Traditionally, a coach — whether of the figure skating, Lamaze, or Craig T. Nelson variety — is someone who helps you move toward a goal, whatever the method. Life coaches take the whole enchilada of being into account, helping clients achieve anything from landing a new job to finding romance. "Live by design, rather than default," or so goes the common catchphrase in the field. In the process, the client will hopefully find other, less tangible benefits beyond specific accomplishments, such as a feeling of competency, or, hey, just enjoying life more.

Life Coaching resembles Sports Coaching in its desire to ensure that the client/athlete achieves their peak performance (in the race or in life) to achieve their desired goals.

Life Coaching is especially powerful in Times of Transition, when life hands us unexpected changes. Life Coaching gives you the skills you will need to handle life’s challenges.

Life Coaching is a highly effective tool for us Baby Boomers who are well into the second half of life and looking to discover a deeper purpose in life and/or determine what we want to do for the rest of our lives.

A Personal Coach does NOT perform therapy. Coaching is not about offering advice or telling you what to do. Coaching is about leading you to discover your strength, your power and the answers you seek via your work with a Personal Coach.
